Yaniv Peretz is a highly-skilled security professional with over 25 years of experience, known  for his illustrious career in the industry. From his military service in the renowned Golani brigade to his role as a security attaché in the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yaniv has displayed expertise and dedication in various international capacities. He has been deployed to embassies worldwide and played a leading role in counter-terrorism consultations following the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist attacks in Mumbai.
Yaniv’s corporate journey includes serving as the Head of Security for Oerlikon in Shanghai and New York, where he managed company security, fraud investigations, and export control. He later established Lorin, a Singapore and Israel-based security company specializing in physical security design. With a focus on security technology design and digital transformation, Yaniv has provided consultation and oversight for numerous commercial, residential, and industrial sites. His impressive portfolio includes the design and implementation of command centers for managed security and operations services, with notable projects such as Jem Mall Compass Heights, Bukit Timah Plaza, and Eco-Tech@Sunview. Aside from his practical achievements, Yaniv is actively involved in education and training within the security industry. As the founder of the Counter Terrorism Certification Board, he has developed internationally recognized programs such as the Certified Counter Terrorism Practitioner (CCTP) and Certified Physical Security Consultant (CPSC) certifications. He authored the Complete Counter Terrorism Guide in 2018 and serves as the Operational Director of The Counter Terrorist Magazine – Asia Pacific Edition. Yaniv’s extensive knowledge and experience make him a sought-after speaker at security conferences, universities, and events, while his media interviews establish him as a subject matter expert in digital transformation, security, and terrorism.
